Hello Friends… I’m excited to announce a two day stamp event that has been scheduled for July 16th and 17th. The event will be held at Countryside Christian Church, located on South Rock Road Wichita, Kansas. The facility will be large enough to maintain social distancing with the seating of four persons per five foot round table. To kickoff the fun festivities I will be hosting a shoe box swap Friday evening, July 16th, followed by project based stamp camp Saturday, July 17th. The suite “You’re A Peach” will be featured in creating eight projects. Both days will be packed with creative fun, snacks, and giveaways.

Here’s a closer look to help you select the option that fits your need.

Option #1 for $60 includes: You’re a Peach Stamp Set, 1/2 package of You’re a Peach 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper, and one Mini Jam Jar.

Option #2 for $85 includes; You’re a Peach Stamp and Die Bundle (Priced with a 10 % savings for the Bundle), 1/2 package of You’re a Peach 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper, and one Mini Jam Jar.

Option #3 for $125 includes the entire You’re a Peach Suite: You’re a Peach Stamp and Die Bundle (Priced with a 10% savings for the Bundle), a full package of You’re a Peach 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper and nine Mini Jam Jars.

What if you can not attend in person? I will ship your selected option including the stamp camp project kits to your home. Shipping is included in all the above option prices. I would be thrilled to have you participate even if it’s not in person.

You might be asking what is a Shoe Box Swap, and what are the requirements? Listed below is an explanation. Please do not hesitate to ask questions should these instructions be confusing or unclear, I would be more than happy to assist you.

1.  A shoe box swap is creating an exclusive card design of your own or copying a design from someone else.  Note:  Copying someone else’s design is totally ACCEPTABLE however, it would be appreciated to give credit to the original creator by mentioning their name.  Each attendee will exchange their prepared kit/swap with the other participating swappers.  Each attendee will pass the box after assembling that design.  By the end of the evening each attendee will have a number of different cards to take home.

2.  Each participant is responsible for pre-cutting to size any layering etc. on the card.  The card design should be easy to assemble with stamping as the primary focus.  Punches and hand cutting are welcome.   Should you wish to use dies or embossing folders I ask you proceed with caution.    I cannot and will not guarantee the return of your item in the same condition as when you brought it.  With that said, there will be a cutting machine available if you so choose to forego the caution notice.

3.  All products used must be current Stampin’ Up!  products.

4.  Provide an envelope for each card.

5.  Each card should be a folded full-size card measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  Fun folds are welcome.

6.  A minimum of two layers or more including an embellishment of some sort.  For example:  a punch, flower, ribbon, rhinestones, etc.

7.  All products needed to create your design must be included in the box such as ink, blender pens, markers, punches, stencils, embossing folders (if you so choose), etc.

8.  All products in the shoe box should be labeled with your name.  Things do get left out and will need to find their way back to you.

9.  Once the number of swap attendees are finalized, the number of kits needed will be announced.

10.  Two completed cards are required in addition to the kits.  One card will travel with the box as an example for the assembler to follow.  Should your card require more instructions other than visual, I suggest you include a document of instructions to travel with the box.  The second card will mine to keep and will be displayed on a board for a visual accountability of what cards need to be assembled.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look over my plans for a fun and exciting time. I hope you take part and join us. To those of you who live out of state, you are welcome to attend. I’ve already communicated with several from Wyoming, NY, Texas and Connecticut whom are planning to attend, Just let me know and I’ll help you find accommodations.

Hugs,

LeAnn
