Hello Friends… It’s so fun to once again be one of Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge guest designers , here is my take on SC842! I would be thrilled to hear what you think! Better yet, join in the fun and share your inspirational piece of art with the rest of whom are participating!

My design is a smaller square than the actual challenge of 6″, mine measures 4 1/4 x 4 1/4. I cheated (just a hair, wink, wink) on the 1/2 vertical strip by using the balloon string as my vertical strip.

Supplies:

  • Stamp Set: Hey Birthday Chick #154464
  • Cardstock: Basic White #159276
  • Ink: Misty Moonlight #153118, Granny Apple Green #147095, Coastal Cabana #147097, Memento Black #132708
  • Stampin’ Blend Combos: Pool Party #154894, Granny Apple Green #154885, Misty Moonlight #153108, Pumpkin Pie #154897, Flirty Flamingo #154884
  • Miscellaneous: Rainbow Glimmer Paper #153056, Layering Circles #151770, Metallic Baker’s Twine #152314 (retired), Stampin’ Write Basic Black Marker #100082, Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems #153547

Measurements:

  • Basic White: 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 Card base, score at 4 1/4, 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 (center panel)
  • Rainbow Glimmer Paper: 4 x 4 (matte), Note: Prior to adhering your matte to the card base, cut your circle and stem from the center of the square to save paper. INSIDE: 3/4 x 4 1/8

For the inside, the ink was dabbed onto the confetti stamp image using three colors, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, and Misty Moonlight. Note: To prevent mudding the colors, apply the ink randomly on the image in the order listed above, light to dark. Both, front and inside sentiments are stamped in Misty Moonlight ink.

Thank you for stopping in! I hope you enjoyed this fun and goofy chick! Please subscribe to my blog if you’ve not already done so, it would make me so happy!

Have a blessed weekend filled with lots of love and laughter!

Hugs,

LeAnn
