Hello Friends… Valentine’s Day is approaching soon and I’m in the mode to create some beauties for the special day of love, how about you? This card design was created using Mary’s Color Challenge CC829, she has given those participating in the challenge a choice of two color pallets, the first being Real Red, Basic Black and Very Vanilla and the second Poppy Parade, Petal Pink, and Basic White with the dessert option of ‘Valentine’. My choice today was to use the Real Red, Basic Black, and Very Vanilla.

This design is very simple to put together, other than the fact it has multiple layers that might take more time to cut and adhere. The Buffalo Check strip provides a nice accent for a more masculine look without all the foofoo!

Supplies:

  • Stamp Set: Heartfelt Bundle #153775, Buffalo Check #151372
  • Cardstock: Basic Black #121045, Real Red #102482, Very Vanilla #101650
  • Ink: Memento Black #132708, Real Red #147084
  • Miscellaneous: Scripty 3D Embossing Folder #149634

Measurements:

  • Basic Black: 4 1/4 x 11 (Card base) scored at 5 1/2, 2 5/8 x 2 5/8 (Matte for Arrow), 3/4 x 4 1/8 (Matte for Buffalo Check), 1 1/2 x 3 1/2 (Banner), 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 (Scalloped Heart)
  • Real Red: 3 3/4 x 5 (Card Base Matte)
  • Very Vanilla: 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 (Front Panel, embossed with Scripty 3D embossing folder), 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 (Square with Arrow), 5/8 x 4 (Buffalo Check), 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 (Stamped Heart), INSIDE: 4 x 5 1/4

Add a 4 x 5 1/4 Very Vanilla to the inside and stamp the sentiment.

Thank you for visiting my post today! I’m thrilled you took the time to stop and take a look! If you’ve not yet subscribed to my blog, you’d make my day by doing so!

Have a wonderful week, may God bless you with a heart filled with love and happiness!

Hugs,

LeAnn
