Hello Friends… I hope your Thanksgiving holiday was one filled with love and thanksgiving. Ours here in Kansas was blessed with a gender reveal of a new grandbaby expected in April! My daughter and son-in-law hosted Thanksgiving at their home in the country. It’s become family tradition to shoot skeet after Thanksgiving dinner. However, this year a special treat was instore for us from one of the other siblings, both our daughter and her husband shot clay pigeons to announce the gender of their baby. I’m happy to announce that pink powder/smoke flew in the air! Yay, we’re having a girl, I’m so excited to have a baby again in the family, I truly didn’t care what gender it was! But now I can totally shop for a girl, you know me I love to shop

Check out this Gingerbread House that was easily created from the Stitched Nesting Label Dies. This month’s Paper Pumpkin stamp set fits perfectly within the perimeter of the nesting label die to create the house. What do you think? I would love to hear your comments!

• Accessories: Hippo & Friends Dies #153585, Stitched Nested Labels Dies #149638, Dog Builder #148543, Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder, Stampin’ Write Marker Assortment (Subtles) #147156

Measurements:

• Whisper White:  5 ½ x 8 ½, scored at 4 ¼, 3 x 4, 3/8 x 1 ½,
• Mint Macaron: 3 7/8 x 5 1/8, 3 x 4 ¼,1 ¼ x 1 ½, 1 x 1, scrap
• Blushing Bride:  3 5/8 x 4 7/8, scrap

Instructions:

1. Fold the card base on the score line and burnish the fold.
2. Adhere the 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 Mint Macaron panel to the card base front.
3. Emboss the 3 5/8 x 4 7/8 Blushing Bride panel using the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder.  Layer and adhere the embossed panel to the Mint Macaron matte on the card front.
4. Die cut the 3 x 4 Whisper White cardstock using the second to the largest nested label dies. Trim the bottom straight across where the nested label begins to angle to a point.  Stamp the images using Blushing Bride ink.  Color the hearts and leaves using Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Write Markers.
5. Punch two hearts, one from Blushing Bride and the other from Mint Macaron using the Dog Builder punch.  Adhere both hearts to the stamped image.
6. Select the scallop die from Hippo & Friends, die cut a scallop from a scrap of Blushing Bride.  Adhere the scallop in the open space between the top and bottom of the house.
7. Stamp the sentiment in Mint Macaron ink on the 3/8 x 1 ½ Whisper White.  Snip both ends to create tails.  Adhere the sentiment to the Blushing Bride scallop using mini dimensionals.
8. Die cut the 3 x 4 ¼ Mint Macaron using the largest die from Stitched Nested Labels die set. Stack and adhere the Whisper White panel to the Mint Macaron Nested Label.  Trim the bottom of the Mint Macaron panel to meet the bottom of the Whisper White panel. For the door, die cut the 1 ¼ x 1 ½ Mint Macaron using the 2nd smallest nested label die, adhere and trim the bottom as before.  For the chimney, die cut the 1 x 1 Mint Macaron using the smallest nested label, trim the one end to make it straight across and adhere it to the left side of the roof.

Stamp the inside as shown in Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron ink.  Punch four hearts in Mint Macaron and adhere them to each stamped corner.
