Hello Friends… As Mister Roger would say, “it’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood”! The weather here in Kansas is a perfect fall day, the temperature is in the 70’s with the sun shining brightly! “Won’t you be my neighbor”? I’m sure you’ve heard Mister Roger ask this question as well! Would you say ‘yes’ if the house next door looked like this one below? One with eerie Rich Razzleberry light dancing in the each window and bats flying freely? Of course, you would!!! Check out how two stamp sets ‘Life is Beautiful’ and ‘Everything Essential’ were used to create this fun and ‘Spooky’ Halloween card.

Create this ‘spooky’ card by starting with a 4 1/4 x 11, Old Olive base, scored at 5 1/2. Fold the card on the score line and burnish the fold. Adhere a 4 x 5 1/4 Rich Razzleberry panel to the card base front.

Stamp the image of the tree from ‘Life is Beautiful’ onto a 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 Basic Black panel using Versamark ink. Heat emboss the tree using White Embossing Powder. Dry emboss the lower portion of the panel using the embossing folder ‘Meadow Moments’. Color the raised dots and leaves with a White Chalk marker. Adhere the panel to the card base front.

Select the sixth rectangle from the largest, from the ‘Stitched Rectangles’ die set. Cut a rectangle from Old Olive cardstock.

Cut a 1 5/8 x 3 Basic Black panel.

Select the seventh from the largest rectangle, from the ‘Stitched Rectangles’ die set. Cut a rectangle from Whisper White cardstock. Stamp the ‘Haunted’ house in Memento Black ink onto the rectangle, color the the banner and windows using Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. According to size, stack and adhere the Whisper White, Basic Black, and Old Olive rectangles together. Adhere the combined panels to the upper right side of the card base front using dimensionals.

Create the faux ‘enamel dots’ by punching three 1/8″ circles from Old Olive cardstock, followed by applying Crystal Effects. Allow the Crystal Effects to dry and adhere randomly onto the Whisper White rectangle.

Cut a Rich Razzleberry spider web using the die from ‘Peek-A-Hoot’ die set, adhere to the lower left corner of the Whisper White rectangle using a dimensional. Embellish the center of the spider web with a Rhinestone Basic Jewel.

Stamp the haunted house on the inside of the card using Memento Black ink. Repeat the same coloring process used on the card front using Stampin’ Blends.
