Here is the final posting of the twelve card collection I created for the Stampin’ Up retreat I attended a week ago in Texas. I’m still feeling honored in having been ask to create this collection for examples. All attendee’s received this fantastic stamp set for free. I was requested by a few who attended the retreat to provide instructions of the cards I displayed. I’m happy to say, “CAS away my friends”. The retreat was loaded with tons of creative activity that included 32 shoe box swaps, and four large projects. Positive Thoughts

Card 1

Measurements:

• 8 ½ x 5 ½ So Saffron, score at 4 ¼ 
• 3 7/8 x 5 ½ Very Vanilla, 3 ¾ x 5 ½ Very Vanilla, 4 x ¾ Very Vanilla, Very Vanilla scrap, So Saffron scrap, 2 7/8 x 5 ½ Night of Navy, 7/8 x 4 Night of Navy

Instructions:

1. Fold the So Saffron card base at score line.
2. Using the small accent stamp, stamp across the top and bottom of the 3 7/8 x 5 ½ Very Vanilla, alternate the ink colors, So Saffron and Night of Navy. Adhere to front of the So Saffron card base.
3. Adhere the 2 7/8 x 5 ½ Night of Navy to the Very Vanilla panel placing it evenly between the stamped accents.
4. Stamp the leaf sprigs on the 3 ¾ x 5 ½ Very Vanilla panel using the Rock and Roll technique.  This is done by inking the entire sprig in Pear Pizzazz and rolling the outside edges in Garden Green.  This method will be repeated with the flower as well only it will be stamped on the Very Vanilla scrap using Rococo Rose for the base color and rolling the outside edges in Lovely Lipstick.
5. Using Nature’s Thought dies, die cut the stamped flower.
6. Using Nature’s Thought dies cut the flower’s center from the Very Vanilla scrap.
7. Using Nature’s Thought dies cut two leaves from the So Saffron scrap.
8. Using dimensionals assemble the flower and adhere the leaves flat to the flowers back.  Add dimensionals to the flower back and adhere to the upper left side of the stamped Very Vanilla panel.  Stamp sentiment in Night of Navy ink on the 4 x ¾ Very Vanilla strip, trim the right end to resemble a ribbons tail.  Adhere the 7/8 x 4 Night of Navy strip to the back of the stamped sentiment, trim tails to match.  Using dimensionals adhere sentiment to the card base by placing it on the lower right side of the stamped panel.
9. Randomly add three Heart Faceted Gems to card front and one to the flower’s center for the finishing touch.

• 11 x 4 ¼ Very Vanilla, score at 5 ½  
• 1 ¼ x 4 5/8 So Saffron Diagonal Stripe DSP, 1 1/8 x 4 ½ Night of Navy, 1 ½ x 5 Night of Navy, 3 x 5 Very Vanilla, 1 ¼ x 4 1/8 Very Vanilla

Instructions:

1. Fold the Very Vanilla card base at score line.
2. Using the decorative frame die from Nature’s Thoughts, place the 1 ¼ x 4 1/8 Very Vanilla along the right edge of the frame die (I allowed a ¼ inch to be cut off, it should measure 1 inch wide after being cut.  No worries about the left edge, it will not be seen.
3. Butting the left edges, adhere the (cut) 1 x 4 1/8 Very Vanilla strip to the 1 1/8 x 4 ½ Night of Navy strip.  Adhere these to the 1 ¼ x 4 5/8 So Saffron Diagonal Stripe DSP.
4. On the card base front stamp the leaf sprigs at the top and bottom using the Rock and Roll technique.  This is done by inking the entire sprig in Pear Pizzazz and rolling the outside edges in Garden Green. 
5. Using the rock and roll method again, stamp three flowers on the 3 x 5 Very Vanilla using Rococo Rose ink for the base color and rolling the outside edges in Lovely Lipstick.  Cut out flowers using Nature’s Thoughts flower die.
6. Using the leftover Very Vanilla, cut three flower centers and one small butterfly using the Nature’s Thought dies.  Sponge the edges of the flower centers in So Saffron.  Use a dimensional to adhere a center to each flower.
7. Cut four small sprigs from the 1 ½ x 5 Night of Navy using Nature’s Thoughts dies.
8. Stamp sentiment in Night of Navy ink, placing it in the open space between the stamped sprigs on the left side.
9. Adhere the stacked panel on the right side of card front.
10. Using dimensionals adhere the flowers along the left edge of stacked panel, fill in spaces with the Night of Navy sprigs.
11. Adhere butterfly.  Add the Heart Faceted Gems to the flower centers and embellish card front with three small ones.

Instructions:

1. Fold the Very Vanilla card base at the score line.
2. Using the Rock and Roll technique, stamp the leaf sprigs on the lower right corner of the 3 ¼ x 4 ¾ Very Vanilla.  This is done by inking the entire sprig in Pear Pizzazz and rolling the outside edges in Garden Green.  Cut out using the decorative frame from the Nature’s Thoughts dies.
3. Using the Nature’s Thoughts dies, cut the decorative ribbon strip from the          1 x 4 ½ Night of Navy.
4. Using the Nature’s Thoughts dies, cut one small leaf sprig from the Night of Navy scrap.
5. Using the Rock and Roll technique stamp one flower on the 4 x 4 Very Vanilla using Rococo Rose ink for the base color and rolling the outside edges in Lovely Lipstick.  Cut out flower using Nature’s Thoughts flower die.
6. Using the same 4 x 4 Very Vanilla, cut a flower center using the Nature’s Thought die, sponge the edge of the flower center in So Saffron.  Use a dimensional to adhere the center to the flower base.
7. Stamp sentiment in Night of Navy ink on the remainder of the 4 x 4 Very Vanilla, hand cut sentiment.
8. Adhere the 3 x 4 ½ Night of Navy to the 3 ¼ x 4 ¾ So Saffron Diagonal Stripe. 
9. Adhere the stamped Very Vanilla frame to the combined Night of Navy and So Saffron Stripe panel.
10. Adhere the Night of Navy decorative ribbon approx. an inch from the bottom of the stamped frame.
11. Using dimensionals adhere the sentiment to the stamped frame by placing it in the upper left corner.
12. Using dimensionals adhere the flower to the lower right corner of stamped frame.  Tuck and adhere the Night of Navy leaf sprig under the flower.
13. Add dimensionals to the back of the So Saffron Diagonal Stripe (the finished panel), adhere by slightly angling the rectangle across the front of card base. 
14. Add a Heart Faceted Gem to the flower’s center and three small ones to embellish the card’s front.

• 4 7/8 x 5 1/8 Night of Navy, 1 3/8 x 4 ¾ Night of Navy, 4 ¾ x 5 Very Vanilla, 1 ¼ x 4 5/8 Very Vanilla, Very Vanilla scrap

Instructions:

1. Fold the Very Vanilla card base at score line.
2. Stamp sentiment in Night of Navy on the Very Vanilla scrap, hand cut sentiment.
3. Stamp the decorative accent on the 1 ¼ x 4 5/8 Very Vanilla, start with So Saffron (Hint: for the first image, stamp off on paper mat), stamp So Saffron full strength on the second accent.  Continue stamping accents in this order… Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green, Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose, Lovely Lipstick, once again stamp off the paper mat for a second-generation using Night of Navy, the last Night of Navy accent is stamped full strength. Adhere this panel to the1 3/8 x 4 ¾ Night of Navy.
4. Use the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder to emboss the 4 ¾ x 5 Very Vanilla.  Adhere to the 4 7/8 x 5 1/8 Night of Navy panel.
5. Adhere the stamped accents to the 1 3/8 x 4 ¾ Night of Navy.
6. Add dimensionals to the back of the Night of Navy panel and adhere to the left side of the embossed Very Vanilla panel.  Note: Add baker’s twine prior to attaching the panel to card base. I wrapped the Metallic Baker’s Twine around the panel twice and tied a small bow.  Now it’s ready to adhere to card base.
7. Use dimensionals to adhere the sentiment to the upper right side of the card front.
8. Add a Heart Faceted Gems to the center of each decorative accent.
