Hello Friends, the ‘she shed tornado shelter’ has been into diaper changing this week! Lol! The inspiration for this card derived from two things, an invitation to a baby shower and this adorable ‘vintage flower pot’ bought from a local thrift store. You know me, I find it fun and a challenge to shop for inspiration…

This card was designed for a close childhood friend of mine who’s daughter is having her second child, a boy. The sentiment written inside are instructions for changing a baby’s diaper softball/baseball style, this was perfect for her as she attended college on a softball scholarship and is an avid lover of the sport.

Instructions for diaper changing softball/baseball style:

Spread the diaper in the position of the diamond with you at bat. Then fold second base down to home and set the baby on the pitcher’s mound. Put first base and third together, bring up home plate and pin the three together. Of course, in case of rain, you gotta’ call the game and start over again. Jimmy Piersall

Is this an adorable sentiment or what? I think she will get a hit out of it, don’t you? (Chuckle), get it… HIT?

I created this Stampin’ Up ‘punch art’ design by using dies and hand cutting the eyes, nose, and sprig of hair. Stampin’ Up made this creation so simple by the great oval and circle dies they offer. See list below for supplies, wouldn’t you love to make this cutie patootie creation?
