Hello Friends… Have you heard of the Wonky Donkey children’s book? If not, I urge you to take the time to read it. It’s sure to bring you a chuckle for sure. This book is one of my kids (and Grammy’s) favorite to read. Of course, Gram turns into a goofball herself when she reads it to them. This card design was created in ‘little likeness’ to the actual Wonky Donkey, but nonetheless, it was designed for my Grandson’s third birthday!
The donkey image ‘Darling Donkey’ used here can be earned for free by placing an order of $50 or more during Stampin’ Up’s Sale-a-bration event open through January and February! My apologies for not providing the measurement for the component’s to this design but I gave it to my grandson before remembering to write them down. However, the base card is simply a 7″ x 8 1/2″ Basic White panel, scored on the 7″ side at 3 1/2″. Fold on the score line and burnish the fold.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit today’s post, I hope you stop by again! Please subscribe to my blog if you’ve not already done so. I would be thrilled! Have a blessed day and stay safe,

Love that book! Got it for my granddaughter when she was only a year old. I think us grammas love the video more than anyone!
Live close to a little ghost town where the descendants of silver/ gold miners’ donkeys still roam freely. They are such a draw.
May have to case your card for her 3rd bday next fall.
Wonderful card! Thanks for sharing.
Wendy… it’s so nice of you to comment! Looks like we have something in common with loving our grandchildren and the Wonky Donkey, lol! I still laugh at the grammy reading the book, she was such a hoot! I’m sure sales soared after reading the book!
I’ve not heard of donkeys roaming freely, I think that would be a sight to see, very interesting!
Case away my friend, you’ll have a ball making this card for your Granddaughters 3rd birthday! Enjoy the fun of crafting and your granddaughter!
Thank you for leaving such a nice comment, I loved it!
