Hello Friends… It’s Color Challenge time again, Jeanne is this weeks hostess for Splitcoaststampers CC817! Boy howdy, she challenged this ole’ girl with this color combo, Misty Moonlight, Mint Macaron, and Calypso Coral with the dessert option of ‘my favorite yellow’!
After giving these colors a lot of thought, I settled on creating a nontraditionally colored poinsettia in Calypso Coral backed by a water colored embossed background in Misty Moonlight. I went for a country feel swiping the embossed Misty Moonlight with Craft White ink giving the oval panel a washed look. The focal point is bordered with the Ornate Layer Dies in Whisper White. To fulfill Jeanne’s dessert option ‘my favorite yellow’… the poinsettia center is embellished with Beaded Pearls colored with Daffodil Delight and Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Blends.
