Hello Friends… I thought I would whip up another card for the Color Challenge using Real Red, Crumb Cake and Whisper White, with the dessert option of using three layers. This card definitely fulfills this weeks dessert option of creating a card with three or more layers.
What do you get, when you do a little stamping, a little die cutting, and a little heat embossing? Yup… this ‘here’ is it… yup it’s that easy! TeeHee! Don’t you love the country feel of this card with it’s Buffalo Check background? Check out the details below so you can create one of these for your very own!
The card base measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4. Adhere a 4 x 5 1/4 Basic Black panel to the card base front. Stamp the Buffalo Check in Real Red on a 3 3/4 x 5 Crumb Cake panel, adhere to the card base front. Die cut a Basic Black circle using the largest Stitched Shapes die. Using Versamark ink stamp the pine trees and heat emboss using White embossing powder. Die cut a Real Red frame using the two largest dies from Stitched Shapes and adhere to the Basic Black circle. Die cut three pine trees using the Majestic Mountain Dies, cut one of the trees off from the bottom to make it shorter than the other two trees. Adhere all three trees to card base front placing them closer to the outer edges leaving a space for the circle in the middle. Adhere the circle to the center of the card using dimensionals. Using the Moose Punch, punch a moose from Crumb Cake cardstock, highlight the antlers with Shimmery Crystal Effects and a dab of (Retired) Dazzling Diamonds. Adhere the moose to the lower right side of card front using dimensionals. Stamp the sentiment from Merry Moose on a scrap of Whisper White in Real Red ink. Die cut the sentiment using a die from Hippo and Friends die set, (Note: the panel was made shorter by running the die through the machine twice, cutting off one end). Adhere the sentiment to a piece of Basic Black and trim to create a matte. Adhere the sentiment to the lower left corner of the card front using dimensionals. Add a Real Red ribbon bow and rhinestone jewels (colored black) to the sentiment for the finishing touch.
