Today’s card is once again a color challenge using the colors Just Jade, Shaded Spruce and Magenta Madness, with the dessert option of being Christmas!

What a tranquil winter scene, and oh so easy to create! The background Designer Series Paper used here is from Tis The Season 6 x 6 paper pack, don’t you think it worked perfectly for this weeks color challenge? The Whisper White background including the Just Jade panel were created by using the new embossing folder, ‘Evergreen Forest’. The Just Jade pine trees were colored with watered down Whisper White Ink refill and highlighted with full strength ink refill. A White Chalk Marker/Pen was also used to add highlights. For the flecks of snow I loaded the water brush with diluted ink and tapped the end of the brush over the Just Jade panel. The only stamping on this beauty is the sentiment, it’s from the stamp set, ‘Itty Bitty Christmas’ and stamped in Shaded Spruce ink. The die cut pine trees, both inside and out, were cut from the ‘Majestic Mountain Dies’. For the finishing touch, a dash of color was added by using the 2020-22 In Color Enamel Dots.

The inside was embellished with the trimmed scrap from the front of the card, along with one die cut pine tree! Fast and simple providing a finished and polished look to the inside panel.
