Hello Friends… It’s definitely summer time here in Kansas, however, my ‘She Shed Tornado Shelter’ is place to be, in where it’s cool! I’ve been working on creating my last card as Junes’s guest designer for Splitcoaststampers color challenges! It’s been a fun month with all the challenging color combo’s. This week’s challenge is using the colors Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point, and Gorgeous Grape, the dessert option was to use an element of some sort that had scallops or waves. Here’s my take on this weeks challenge, what do you think?

This adorable card features the new stamp/punch bundle Whale Done Bundle #154053! If you like it as much as I did, you can purchase the entire suite Whale of a Time Suite Collection #154126 for $65.50. The suite includes the stamp/punch bundle, 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper, Sequins, Embossing Folder, and Pool Party Ribbon, what a WHALE OF A DEAL!

The added bonus of being able to punch the whale, seaweed, and a spew of water with just one squeeze is great. Check out the 3D embossing folder in the picture above! As you can see in the picture it’s etching is a real eye catcher, providing a rich textured look!

I’ve stamped the whales using the mirroring technique. This can easily be done by stamping on the Silicone Craft Sheet #127853 and transferring the image to your cardstock. The background was created by using the Sponge Brayers #141714 in Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point, and Gorgeous Grape ink. The hand cut multi-colored seeweed was randomly inking the image in all three colors. The Basic Black seeweed was simply punched from cardstock. For the finishing touch, the sentiment was stamped in Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with White embossing powder.
