Hello Friends… The sun is shining brightly in my “She Shed Tornado Shelter” as well as outside today! Check out this adorable card I created with May’s Paper Pumpkin stamp set ‘A Kit In Color’. The stamp set features a rainbow that can be used in a variety of ways, such as pictured here, turning it into a smiley face.

Supplies Used:

  • Stamp Set: A Kit In Color #154230,
  • Cardstock: Whisper White #100730, Daffodil Delight #119683
  • Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento #132708, Real Red #147084, Pumpkin Pie #147086, Daffodil Delight #147094
  • Miscellaneous: Layering Circles # 151770

Measurements:

  • Whisper White 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
  • So Saffron 3 1/2 x 3 1/2

Instructions:

  1. Fold on score line and burnish fold.
  2. Stamp the sentiment on the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Whisper White panel. Ink the entire image using the Daffodil Delight ink, second randomly tap the image in Pumpkin Pie, third randomly tap the Real Read over the image. Note: It’s important you ink your stamp going from light to dark to avoid contaminating your lighter colored ink pads. Stamp image in the upper left corner of panel.
  3. Stamp the largest rainbow in Real Red on the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Whisper White angled to the right on the right side of the panel.
  4. Stamp the medium rainbow inside the Real Red using Pumpkin Pie ink.
  5. Stamp the smallest rainbow inside the Pumpkin Pie using Daffodil Delight.
  6. Stamp the sentiment ‘You’re Amazing’ at an angle in the lower right corner using Real Red ink.
  7. Stamp the largest rainbow on the 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 So Saffron using Black Memento to create a smile. Stamp two stars using Memento Black ink to create the eyes.
  8. Center the largest circle die from the ‘Layering Circles’ over the face and run it through the Big Shot.
  9. Stamp the sprigs of hair using Memento Black ink.
  10. Adhere the happy face to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Whisper White panel using dimensionals.
  11. Adhere the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Whisper White panel to the card base front.
