Glamorous Pockets!

Hello Friends… My ‘She Shed Tornado Shelter’ has now been beautified with glamour today! Check out these five creations using the retiring ‘Pocket Framelit Dies’ and the NEW ‘Dress to Impress Suite’!

I’m amazed at how well these two die sets compliment each other! I’ve had the ‘Pocket Framelit Dies’ for some time and never used them. My thoughts were I better get busy and use them before they retire. Now… I’m sorry I waited so long, as they’ve made up some really cute cards/projects! If you’ve not tried pairing these two together, here’s a few idea’s!

Measurements:

Whisper White 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, 3 1/4 x 4
Mint Macaroon Scrap
Rococo Rose 3 x 5 1/2,
Pretty Peacock 3 1/2 x 4

Instructions:

Emboss the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Whisper White using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder.
Adhere to folded card base front.
Cut sunglasses, heart, and button from the 3 1/4 x 4 Whisper White.
Punch (two) 1″ circles from the Mint Macaroon scrap, hand trim circles to create the sunglasses lenses. Adhere to the sunglasses.
Stamp the lipstick tube twice onto the scrap of Mint Macaroon using Pretty Peacock ink. Either hand cut or use dies to cut them out. Hand cut both open ends of the lipstick off, adhere the two closed tubed ends together giving the appearance the tube is closed.
Punch (two) daisies and a heart from the 3 x 5 1/2 Rococo Rose. Stagger and adhere the two daisies together. Using a dimensional adhere the Whisper White button to the center of flower.
Cut pocket using the 3 1/2 x 4 Pretty Peacock, fold on score lines and add stitching marks by using a White Chalk Marker/Pen.
Use liquid adhesive to adhere the pocket to the card front.
Stamp sentiment using Pretty Peacock and Mint Macaroon markers to the Whisper White heart.
Adhere the Rococo Rose scallop heart to the Whisper White heart by using tear tape. Adhere heart to the card base by tucking the bottom of the heart into the pocket. Adhere the tube of lipstick next to the heart.
Adhere the daisy to the lower right corner of pocket using dimensionals.
Adhere the sunglasses using dimensionals, add rhinestones to sunglasses frame for the finishing touch.

Mint Macaroon shoe print 4 x 5 1/4
Pretty Peacock 4 x 5 1/4
Mint Macaroon 2 x 5

Instructions:

Die cut the Mint Macaroon shoe dsp using the Ornate Layer Die.
Trim and adhere the 4 x 5 1/4 Pretty Peacock to fit behind the shoe dsp.
Fold card base at score line and adhere combined matte to card front.
Stamp the sentiment and two shoes on the 2 x 5 Mint Macaroon using Pretty Peacock ink. Die cut all three.
Die cut pocket using the 3 1/2 x 4 Whisper White. Emboss the pocket with Ornate Floral Embossing Folder.
Fold pocket on score lines and adhere to card front using liquid glue.
Adhere both shoes to the lower right corner of pocket. Add rhinestones to the toe of both shoes.
Adhere sentiment to the pocket using dimensionals.

Instructions:

Fold card base at score line.
Die cut the 4 x 5 1/4 Whisper White using the Ornate Layer Die. Adhere to the card base front.
Die cut the 3 1/2 x 4 Mint Macaroon using the Pocket Die.
Emboss pocket using the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder. Fold on score lines and adhere to the card front using liquid glue.
Die cut sunglasses using the 1 3/4 x 3 1/4 Pretty Peacock. Punch (two) 1″ circles from the Basic Black scrap, hand trim circles to create the sunglasses lenses. Adhere to the sunglasses.
Stamp sentiment on the 1 1/2 x 4 Whisper White using Pretty Peacock ink. Die cut sentiment, small heart and button from the same piece of Whisper White.
Trim the scallop from the Whisper White heart, emboss using the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder. Color the embossed flowers and leaves using Stampin’ Write Markers.
Punch (two) daisies and die cut the smallest heart from the 2 x 5 1/2 Rococo Rose. Stagger and adhere the two daisies together. Using a dimensional, adhere the Whisper White button to the center of flower.
Using Pretty Peacock ink, dye a 10″ piece of Solid Baker’s Twine, tie in a bow after allowing to dry. Adhere to the center of the button.
Layer and adhere the (colored) embossed Whisper White heart to the scalloped Rococo Rose heart.
Using a dimensional adhere the daisy to the upper left side of pocket.
Tuck and adhere sunglasses inside pocket. Add one rhinestone to the sunglasses.
Using dimensionals adhere the sentiment at a slant on the front of the pocket.
Using a dimensional adhere the heart below the sentiment.

Instructions:

Fold card base on score line.
Die cut the 4 x 5 1/4 Whisper White using the Ornate Layer Die. Adhere to the card base front.
Emboss the 1 3/4 x 4 7/8 Mint Macaroon using the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder. Adhere the panel centered on the Whisper White Ornate Layer.
Using Tuxedo Black Memento ink, stamp the lipstick tube on the 4 x 4 Whisper White, stamp again on the scrap of Silver Foil Sheet. Color in the lipstick tube using a Basic Black marker and Rococo Rose. Cut the tube out by either using the matching die or hand cutting. Hand cut the silver sleeve, adhere to the lipstick tube.
Select and hand cut a purse from a sheet of the Best Dressed 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.
Using the remaining piece of Whisper White to stamp the sentiment. Use the Stampin’ Write markers for the ink. Cut the decorative frame by centering the Ornate Layer frame over the sentiment.
Die cut sunglasses using the 1 1/2 x 3 1/2 Pretty Peacock. Punch (two) 1″ circles from the Basic Black scrap, hand trim circles to create the sunglasses lenses. Adhere to the sunglasses.
Adhere the sentiment to the card front using dimensionals.
Adhere the purse hanging off the sentiment to the lower left.
Adhere the sunglasses to the upper left corner placing it over the handle of the purse.
Adhere the tube of lipstick to the lower right hand corner.
Add two rhinestones to the sunglasses frame for the finishing touch.

Instructions:

Die cut the bag and handles using the full sheet of Mint Macaroon.
To create a panel that fits perfectly, place the designer paper in the middle of the bag die and run it through the Big Shot. Adhere the panel to the center of the bag before assembling.
Assemble the bag.
Stamp the sentiment using the Stampin’ Write Markers on the 3 x 3 Whisper White.
Using the Stitched Be Mine dies, cut out the heart. Adhere the scallop to the heart by using tear tape . (Note: Don’t remove all the backing of the tear tape as you’ll be adding dimensionals to adhere it to the bag).
Punch (two) daisies from the 2 x 5 1/2 Pretty Peacock. Stagger and adhere the two daisies together. Punch (one) 1/2″ circle from the Mint Macaroon scrap. Using the Stampin’ Write Markers create a plaid pattern and adhere to the center of the daisy.
Die cut sunglasses using the 1 1/2 x 3 1/2 Rococo Rose, using the Stampin’ Write Markers create a plaid pattern on the sunglasses frame. Punch (two) 1″ circles from the remaining piece of Pretty Peacock, hand trim circles to create the sunglasses lenses. Adhere to the sunglasses.
Use dimensionals to attach the heart to the bag front.
Use dimensionals to attach the daisy to the upper right corner of heart.
Use dimensionals to attach the sunglasses by slightly slanting them on the lower part of the heart. Add rhinestones for the finishing touch.
