Hello Friends… How’s everyone holding up during this world crisis of COVID-19? I’m sure you’re all tired of being reminded of the fact that we are in Shelter in Place, but know that my thoughts and prayers are going out to you and your loved ones during this time of trial. I’m placing my faith in God knowing he’s in full control and pray that his loving grace blesses each one of you with good health, safety, and happiness. Today’s post is a beautiful one but regretfully is a sympathy card, please try to focus on the beauty of the card and not it’s purpose, unfortunately we need sympathy cards at one time or another.
This beauty was made super quick by simply placing the rose ‘Ornate Border’ die at a diagonal and running it through the Big Shot. Adhere the die cut to a base card and embellish by adding color to the open flowers and leaves using Stampin’ Up Blenders.
The retired sentiment stamped here is from the stamp set ‘Simply Sketched’. It’s difficult to see but both sentiments have a Basic Black die cut matte, both were cut by using the ‘Ornate Frames’ die. I then die cut strips of lace from the ‘Ornate Border’ dies and trimmed them and tucked them behind the sentiment. On the Basic Black sentiment, a Very Vanilla frame was cut from the ‘Ornate Frames’ dies then placed behind the Basic Black matte to make it show up.

Thank you so much for dropping in today… I hope things are bright and cheery where you are… hugs to all and have a blessed day!
