Good Morning Friends… How are you doing during this time of uncertainty? I’m so thankful for the ability to continue to create and be content in my ‘She Shed Tornado Shelter’ to keep my mind off of reality. My prayers go out to those who are suffering with COVID19 and the families who have lost loved ones to the virus. Please be safe and well during this difficult time, try to enjoy the simple things in life and reflect on the positive things we have to be thankful for. Love you all!
My creation today is focused on my granddaughter, who’s 6th birthday is tomorrow, March 25th. For the past couple of years she’s been an avid unicorn fan, with her room decorated in a full array of unicorns. Therefore, I thought it only logical to make her a unicorn birthday card, right? My inspiration for this card came from a ‘specifically requested’ stuffed unicorn with a ‘rainbow colored horn’ for one her gifts. Folks… what’s a Gram to do other than fulfill her wishes? Lol! Yes.. I’m a sucker!
Not having a stamp of a unicorn gave me reason to create my own. The horn and eyelashes are hand drawn, with the ears also being drawn and hand cut. The flower stamps are from ‘Thoughtful Blooms’ and the sentiment is from ‘Sending You Thoughts’, both can be found in the Stampin’ Up’s Sale-a-bration brochure and can be earned for free for placing a $50 order. Time is running out to earn these for free as the promotion comes to an end March 31st.
Thank you for visiting my blog today, I hope the sun shines upon you with good health and happy spirits! See you soon and take care!
